Maru Maquieira is an Argentinean mixed media artist who builds her work in layers, moving between gesture and structure, controlled energy and deliberate mark-making. Forth is precisely that: a push forward, the tension of momentum on paper. She works at the intersection of feeling and form — this piece is both its own thing and a challenge to stay still.
