Funky Curator started with a simple belief:
the art on your walls shouldn’t just decorate a space — it should change how it feels to be in it.
I’m Maru — artist and founder.
I started this studio in 2020, when home became everything. And I noticed something most people don’t say out loud:
Most walls are filled with art that means nothing.
Mass-produced. Safe. Chosen in five minutes.
Easy to live with — but impossible to feel.
So I built something different.
Today, Funky Curator works with emerging artists from Argentina, Japan, Switzerland and beyond.
We don’t just select artworks — we spend time with the people behind them. We visit studios, hear their stories, understand the obsession behind each piece.
Because when you know where something comes from, it stops being decoration and starts becoming part of your space.
Every piece is a limited edition of 350.
Printed on museum-grade paper (Hahnemühle German Etching or Enhanced Matte), using pigment inks designed to last over 100 years.
Made to order. No overproduction. No dead stock.
